The petitioner vide the present petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, seeks the following prayers: "a. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, setting aside or quashing the order dated 16.12.2022 passed by the Ld. Presiding Officer Labour Court V, Rouse Avenue Courts Complex, New Delhi, by which Ld. Labour Court has kept the matter for consideration of issues; and/or b. Issue appropriate writ, order or direction to Respondent to release the pending wages of the Petitioner from 12.04.2022 to till date immediately along with 18% interest from the date the amount became due till payment and impose exemplary costs on Respondent; and/or c. Pass any such other or further order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and appropriate in the facts and circumstances of the case in favour of the Petitioner."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the applications under Section 15 of Payment of Wages Act, 1936 and in respect of other issues are pending before the learned Labour Court and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. made an innocuous prayer to grant leave to agitate the grievances with respect to payment of wages and other issues before the learned Labour Court. She further prayed for issuance of direction by this Court to the learned Labour Court to adjudicate the applications expeditiously and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and perused the record.

In view of the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, leave is granted to the petitioner.

The petitioner is directed to approach the learned Labour Court along with an appropriate application and the certified copy of this order to agitate the grievances with respect to the payment of wages to the workman along with other issues. The learned Labour Court is directed to pass an appropriate and reasoned order expeditiously by not giving any unnecessary adjournment to either party.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of.
