% 21.11.2016 Learned counsel for the petitioners states that petitioner Nos.1 to 4 would challenge the order passed by the authorities to cancel their OBC certificates. Insofar as petitioner Nos.1 to 4, he seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition, with liberty to institute appropriate proceedings to challenge cancellation of their OBC certificates. The writ petition filed on behalf of petitioner Nos.1 to 4 would be treated as dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for. As far as petitioner No.5 is concerned, it is an accepted case that the

OBC certificate is genuine and has not been cancelled. The respondents state that they have not completed the verification process. The select list was published in 2011. Five years have elapsed. The verification cannot be put off endlessly. The respondents would conclude their exercise within a period of four weeks from the date they receive a copy of this order, and in case nothing adverse is found, the appointment letter, in accordance with law, would be issued to petitioner No.5.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. SANJIV KHANNA, J CHANDER SHEKHAR, J NOVEMBER 21, 2016 tp
