The present petition has been filed under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 on behalf of the petitioner for extension of the mandate of the Learned Arbitral Tribunal. 2.

It is submitted that the learned Arbitrator had entered into arbitration on 16.12.2021. The 12 months' period ended under Section 29A(1) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 on 22.07.2023. 3.

The parties consented to the extension of the mandate till 27.08.2023. The learned counsel for the petitioner prays for a further extension of 12 months.

Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to the extension of time.

In view of the submissions, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by 12 months from the date it expired. 7.
