Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Having regard to the nature of prayer made in the writ petition, we dispose of this petition, with a direction to the appropriate authority of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to consider and take an informed decision on the representation said to have been preferred by the petitioner, dated 11.11.2024, which has been enclosed as Annexure-P/2. The said decision shall be taken within a period of six weeks from the date a copy of this order is served upon the appropriate authority of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

We make it clear that the decision on the representation, as directed above shall be taken by the competent authority of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, strictly in accordance with law. Our order will also not be construed as any reflection on the merit of the claim made by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.

We also direct that in case, on consideration of the representation preferred by the petitioner, any deficiency in any civic amenities are found, the authorities shall rectify the same within the minimum possible time.
