O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 460/2019 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for extension of time for the learned Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the award.

Mr. Viraj Kadam, Adv. who appears for the respondents, on advance notice, has even though, given his consent for extension of time for the learned Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the award but states that the same should not be for a period of one year, but should be less than that.

Noting the said submission and contents of the petition, this

Court extends the time for the learned Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the award by a period of eight months effective from November 03, 2019.

The petition stands disposed of.
