None is present for the petitioner when the matter was called. 2.

Having heard the learned counsel for the respondent, it is brought out that this Court vide order dated 03.08.2017 in WP(C) No.7010/2016, directed the respondent viz., the Ministry of Home Affairs, Union of India to conduct an inquiry to ascertain if the parents of the petitioner are found to be Srilankan refugees and the outcome of the inquiry be also communicated to the Government of Netherlands. It was also provided that in case the result of the inquiry determines that the petitioner is an Indian citizen, the same be communicated to the petitioner as well.

Learned counsel for the respondent alludes to the compliance affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent dated 10.03.2023 besides the findings of the inquiry report dated 27.12.2017. of Tamil Nadu, it has been revealed that the parents of the petitioner were indeed Srilankan nationals.

In view of the foregoing discussion, as apparently the report 27.12.2017 has already been communicated to the Government of Netherlands in terms of the communication dated 12.09.2018, hence, nothing survives in the present contempt petition, and the same is accordingly dismissed.
