The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for a period of one month.

The petitioner states that he had made an application to the aforesaid effect to the Government of NCT of Delhi but has not received any response to his application.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of by directing

the respondent to consider the petitioner's application and communicate the decision to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three weeks from today.
