The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to immediately demolish the unauthorised construction being carried out at E36, G25, G 15, E78, F76, B27, & D3, Vishwakarma Colony, the area of Pul Prahladpur, Delhi -110044.

A further direction is sought against respondent no. 2/ SHO, to provide necessary assistance for removal of unauthorised construction. 3.

The petitioner filed a representation with the respondents on 13th January, 2026 alleging unauthorised construction. 4.

Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent MCD, on advance notice, submits that out of a total of seven (7) properties that are the subject matter W.P.(C) 984/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. of the present petition, six (6) properties have already been booked for unauthorised construction. He submits that the address of one of the booked properties has wrongly been stated in the petition as G-15 whereas it should have been G-13.

He further submits that the remaining property i.e. E-36 is in the nature of a vacant plot, as is evident from the photographs filed in the petition.

In view of the aforesaid submission made on behalf of the respondents, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take appropriate action in accordance with law. 7.

The respondent shall take appropriate action in accordance with law. 8.

All rights and legal remedies of the private respondents, whose properties are the subject matter of the present petition, shall remain open.
