The present petition has been filed under Section 482 CrPC seeking direction to the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial in connection with FIR No.0285/2010 under Sections 420/468/471 IPC registered at Police Station I. P. Estate, District Central, Delhi titled as "State vs. Manjeet Singh".

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR in the present case was registered as early as on 24.12.2010 whereas the chargesheet was filed only on 21.07.2021 after a period of ten years. The charges were framed on 25.03.2023 but till date only one witness has been examined out The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. of the eight witnesses cited by the prosecution in the chargeshet. 4.

Having regard to the nature of relief sought, the matter is taken up for disposal with the consent of the parties.

Taking into account the limited relief sought, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial, regard being had to the fact that the case pertains to the year 2010.
