By way of the present petition filed under Section 29(A)(4) (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, („A&C‟ Act), the petitioner seeks extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of one year for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is set to expire on 28.02.2025. 3.

Issue notice.

Learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondent on advance copy, accepts notice and submits that though the respondent has no objection to the prayer made in the petition however, parties are also exploring the possibility of an amicable settlement. 5.
