A Petition under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner for quashing of FIR No.565/2016 under Section 354/509/354-A/506/452 IPC registered at Police Station Govindpuri, Delhi. 2.
The allegations made in the Complaint are that the Petitioner who was the neighbour had been troubling the Complainant by making obscene gestures. The Petitioner was also threatening to kill the husband and brother-in-law of the Complainant. His conduct had not improved, but continued to harass the Complainant. Hence, the Complainant/Respondent No.2 made a Complaint on which FIR No.
565/2016 U/s 354/509/354-A/506/452 IPC was registered against the Petitioners at Police Station Govind Puri, Delhi.

persons of the vicinity vide MOU/Settlement Deed dated 02.01.2025 and they have left no grudge or grievance against each other in any manner whatsoever. Therefore, the Petition be quashed. 4.
The complainant is present in the Court and submits that the matter stands settled with the Petitioner and she has no objection if the FIR is quashed against the Petitioner on account of the Settlement dated 02.01.2025 already arrived at between the parties.

The parties are present before this Court in-person today, and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned. 6.
In view of the submissions made, the Petition is allowed. Accordingly, the FIR bearing No. 565/2016 registered at Police Station Govind Puri, for offences punishable under Sections 354/509/354-A/506/452 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 with all the subsequent proceedings and the charge sheet is hereby quashed qua the Petitioner.

The Petition stands disposed of.
