This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuing directions to Respondents No.1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the Petitioner from Respondents No.3 to 7, who are allegedly threatening her in various ways for different reasons, mentioned in the petition.

shall be ensured that mobile numbers of the Beat Constable as well as that of SI Narendra Singh, PS: Ranhola, will be provided to the Petitioner during the course of the day and it would be open to her to contact on the given phone numbers, in case she requires any help or assistance. Mr. Bhandari, however, points out that there seems to be some discrepancy in the residential address furnished by the Petitioner in the petition and she be directed to provide the correct address to SI Narendra Singh. 6.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner fears for her life and is under constant threat from Respondents No.3 to 7. For this reason, Petitioner moved out to a separate residence and does not wish to disclose the place where she is residing albeit he clarifies that she is living within the jurisdiction of PS: Ranhola. It is further stated that the residential address of the Petitioner, where she is currently residing, will be furnished to SI Narendra Singh during the course of the day. 7.

Having perused the petition and after hearing the counsel for the Petitioner and learned ASC for the State, this petition is disposed of with a direction that the Beat Constable of the area will provide his mobile number alongwith mobile number of SI Narendra Singh, PS: Ranhola, to the Petitioner during the course of the day and it would be open to the Petitioner to contact on these numbers in case she needs any help or assistance. The Beat Constable shall visit at the given address once in a week for the next 06 weeks to look into the well-being of the Petitioner. The residential address disclosed by the Petitioner to the Beat Constable and SI Narendra Singh will not be disclosed or shared with anyone.
