O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 499/2019 This is a petition filed by the petitioners under Section 29A(3) read with Section 29 A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for extension of time for the Sole Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the award.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states, even though two months have been prayed for, as the last date for the Sole Arbitrator to render the award had expired on November 17, 2019, he shall be satisfied if three months time be granted to the Sole Arbitrator to complete the proceedings

and render the award. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent has given his consent for the same.

Accordingly, the time for the Sole Arbitrator to render the award is extended by a period of three months effective November 17, 2019. The petition stands disposed of.
