O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 426/2019 This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for the arbitral tribunal to complete the proceedings and render the award. Learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice has consented for extension of time for the arbitral tribunal to complete the proceedings and render the award.
Accordingly, the time for the arbitral tribunal to complete the proceedings and render the award is extended by a period of six months effective from October 17, 2019.
The petition is disposed of.
