Petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the Petitioners for quashing of the FIR No. 0388/2016 Under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code registered at P.S. Sun Light Colony, New Delhi on the basis of Settlement arrived at between the parties.

As per the Settlement, the parties had decided to live together. 3.

The Complainant submits that though she had initially been taken to the matrimonial home in pursuant to their settlement but thereafter, they again started behaving the same way and she has now separated and is living with her mother.
