The present application under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. seeks the following prayers:
"In view of the submissions made above, it is therefore prayed that the Petitioner, SHARAFAT SHEIKH S/o SHRI SHEIKH JAINUL may kindly be granted extension of interim bail in case FIR No. 96/2020, P.S. Crime Branch, U/S 21/25/29 NDPS Act. for a period of four weeks under the facts and circumstances of the case." 2.
As per status report dated 01.02.2024, authored by Sh. Arvind Kumar, Inspector of Police, AGS/Crime Branch, it is pointed out that the wife of the present applicant has been operated upon on 31.01.2024 and requires post operation care.
