The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus seeking production of respondent nos.5 to 7. 3.

The respondent No. 7, that is, the wife of the petitioner, has appeared virtually before us. She submits that she has left the company of the petitioner, along with the children, that is, the respondent nos. 5 and 6, because of some matrimonial disputes. She further states that she apprehends danger to the safety of herself and the children at the hands of the petitioner.

that the petitioner does not even know the whereabouts of the respondent no. 7 and that the respondent no. 7 is not allowing him to meet the children. He further submits that the petitioner would like to explore the possibility of arriving at an amicable settlement with the respondent no.7.

We have considered the submissions made.

As far as the whereabouts of the respondent no. 7 is concerned, the respondent no. 7 shall, through the IO, give her present address to the petitioner.

To allay the fears of safety of the respondent nos.5 to 7, the IO shall share the number of the Beat Constable of the concerned area of residence of the respondent no.7 with her, and in case of any threat perception, the respondent no. 7 may contact the Beat Constable, who shall take adequate measures to provide protection to the respondent no. 7 and the children.

The parties, that is, the petitioner and the respondent no. 7, are also referred to the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre for exploring the possibility of arriving at a settlement. They shall appear before the Mediation Centre on 30.01.2026 at 04:00 PM. 9.

The parties are also left to their remedies for adjudication and enforcement of their rights and claims.
