HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE NAVIN CHAWLA

O R D E R

% 01.03.2024 1.

This application has been filed by the applicant under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short, 'Cr.P.C.'), praying for grant of Anticipatory Bail in the event of his arrest in FIR No.335/2020 registered with Police Station: Special Cell, Delhi under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 66D of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

2.

This Court, by its order dated 25.01.2024, had granted interim protection to the applicant subject to the following conditions: "11. Accordingly, on the applicant joining the investigation further, no further coercive steps be taken against the applicant till the next date of hearing.

12. The applicant shall, however, not leave the country without the express permission of this Court. The applicant shall deposit his passport with this Court within a period of one week from today. The applicant shall also, within one week and on an affidavit, disclose his current residential address and his own mobile phone number to the IO."

The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 06/03/2024 at 11:22:33

3.

Admittedly, the conditions of deposit of the passport with the Court, and of disclosing the current residential address and mobile phone number to the Investigating Officer, have not been complied with by the applicant.

4.

In my opinion, therefore, the applicant is not entitled to any indulgence from this Court.

5.

The Bail Application is accordingly dismissed. Pending application also stands disposed of.
