The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the FIR bearing no. 0138/2019, under Sections 354/354A/354C/506/34 of the IPC registered at PS Hauz Qazi and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed.

A plain reading of the said FIR indicates that the complainant has made certain allegations which includes the allegation that she was blackmailed into paying certain money on threats made by petitioner no.1
that her video would be leaked.

It is the petitioner's case that he and the complainant are married and the FIR filed is vexatious and for an ulterior purpose. 6.
At this stage, it is not necessary for this Court to examine the rival contentions in this regard as the allegations made are yet to be investigated. It is expected that the investigation agency shall verify the facts as stated by the complainant as well as the explanations provided by the petitioner. 7.
It is also apparent from a plain reading of the said FIR that there are hardly any allegations against the family members of petitioner no.1. This does support the petitioner's contention that his family members have also been roped in as the object of the said FIR is vexatious. 8.
Considering the above, this Court also directs that no coercive steps would be taken against the petitioners, subject to them joining the investigation.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid terms. 10.
