% 25.01.2024 1.

This is a petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal which is adjudicating disputes between the parties pursuant to an order dated 16.12.2019 in ARB.P. 687/2019. 2.

I am informed that the arbitration proceedings are at the stage of arguments of the respondent. The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is due to lapse on 05.02.2024.

Ms. Pratima N. Lakra, learned Central Government Standing Counsel, appears on advance instructions, and submits that the respondent has no objection to the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal being extended.
