Mr. P.S. Bindra, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the challenge in the present petition is to the notification dated 12.01.2024, which was issued in respect of the Direct Recruits Quota for the post of Junior Judicial Assistant ('JJA'). apprehension that the filling up of DR quota would entail deprivation of promotions of petitioners to the post of JJA, as they are the feeder cadre to JJA.

After some arguments, learned Senior Counsel submits that the petitioners are going to be satisfied, in case, if the present petition is treated as a detailed representation along with the previous representations dated 27.09.2019, 07.09.2020 and 06.05.2023 submitted by the petitioner No.1/ Association with the respondent No.1 and disposed of in a time bound manner.

In view thereof, the respondent No.1 is directed to consider the present writ petition as a representation alongwith the other representations annexed as Annexure-E to the present petition and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from today. If required, personal hearing may also be afforded to one representative from the petitioner Association. 6.
The petition along with the pending application is disposed of in the above terms.
