% 27.01.2026 1.
Heard the learned Counsel for the Parties.
2.
The learned Senior Counsel, Mr. Amit Chadha, representing the Appellant, on instructions, confines his prayer for permitting the Appellant to deposit the sum of ₹75,00,000/- with the Registrar General of this Court in terms of the order dated 24.12.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in the W.P.(C) 18752/2025 ("Impugned Order") in a week's time from today. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 28/01/2026 at 12:30:21
3.
Since with the said prayer, the Appeal has been sought to be withdrawn, we do not enter into the facts of this case and grant a week's time from today to make the deposit as per the Impugned Order. 4.
We are conscious of the fact that in earlier Letters Patent Appeal bearing No. 388/2025, subject matter of which related to withdrawal of recognition of the Appellant - Institution by the Central Board of Secondary Education, the Court had passed an order permitting the said Appeal to be withdrawn with a request to the learned Single Judge to expedite the proceedings of the Writ Petition, namely, W.P.(C) 5651/2025, however, we provide that the said Writ Petition along with the connected Writ Petition, namely, W.P.(C) 18752/2025 shall be heard only if the deposit is made by the Appellant in terms of the Impugned Order for the reason that before the learned Single Judge, the Appellant had given the undertaking to make the deposit.
5.
We make it clear that we have not deferred the proceedings of the Contempt Case (C) No. 1468/2025. In these circumstances, we request the learned Single Judge to list W.P.(C) 18752/2025 and W.P.(C) 5651/2025 after a week.
6.
The Appeal stands withdrawn, subject to the aforesaid.
