The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) be also added in FIR No.0314/2018, registered under Sections 498A/406/34 of the IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, registered with PS K. N. Katju Marg.

The learned ASC appearing for the State states that the chargesheet has already been filed and the petitioner has an efficacious remedy of approaching the trial court.

In view of the above, the petition is dismissed while reserving the right of the petitioner to avail of the alternative remedies. The pending application is also disposed of.
