Without entering into the facts or on the issue of law with regard to the issuance of a writ of quo warranto on the statement of Ms. Lamba, the petitioner is permitted to file a representation in respect of the allegations made in the present writ petition, to the university-respondent No.1 with a copy to respondent No.2 with a detailed affidavit as to the petitioner's antecedents in respect of the college along with the representation. The Registrar of respondent No.1 may dispose of the representation within six weeks after affording an opportunity to respondent No.2 to explain itself, if required.

The petition is disposed of with no special equities to either of the parties. The issue of maintainability of writ quo warranto is left open.
