This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking the following reliefs:- "A) Direct the concerned Respondent No. 3 and 2 i.e. DCP, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi / SHO of P.S. Jamia Nagar, New Delhi to provide security to the petitioners.

B) Direct the respondent no - 4 and 5 to immediately stop their illegal acts endangering the lives of the petitioner or her children and threats to the petitioner.

C) Direct the respondent no - 1 and 2 to take preventive actions to secure the lives of the petitioner as well as the lives and property of the children of petitioner, from any possible damage occurred due to the act or commission of respondent no 4 & 5 and their associates." 2.

A plain reading of the writ petition shows that the grievance of the Petitioner has its genesis in a landlord-tenant dispute between her and the private Respondents. making attempts to grab the property in which the Petitioner resides and are using muscle power to oust her. It is also alleged that the said Respondents have made attempts to harm the Petitioner and her children by placing nozzles of the gas cylinder open near the electricity meter in front of the main gate of Petitioner's house.

There is no doubt that this petition originates from a private dispute between the Petitioner and the private Respondents herein and there is no gainsaying that the landlord-tenant dispute is purely a civil dispute for which the Petitioner has other appropriate remedies in law. Be that as it may, without going into the merits of the allegations and/or their correctness, it is directed that the Beat Constable of the concerned area shall provide his mobile number to the Petitioner on which she will be at liberty to contact in case of any need or assistance. SI Jaivind Kumar, P.S. Jamia Nagar is present in Court and he will inform the Beat Constable to comply with the aforesaid direction.
