The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents no.1 and 2 to take action against the unauthorized construction being carried out in the property bearing Khasra numbers 668 and 669/4, 669/5, 669/6 situated in extended Abadi of Village Devli, New Delhi-110062 (hereinafter 'subject property').

It is stated that the subject property was booked as far back in 2019. It is further stated that the owners/ occupiers/ builders have broken the seal in the subject property and recommenced unauthorized construction. 3.

A complaint in this regard has been made with the MCD on 14th January, 2026.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/ MCD submits that the MCD has been taking appropriate action in respect of the subject property in accordance with law and shall continue to do so. 5.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent/ MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

An 'Action Taken Report' shall be filed within six (6) weeks with a copy to counsel for the petitioner.
