The present writ petition assails the order dated 20th February, 2022 passed by the Additional District Magistrate (North), under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 read with the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009. It is noted that against this order, there is an appeal remedy provided under the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009, which the Petitioner has not exhausted.

Thus, without going into the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of, with a liberty to the Petitioner to assail the impugned order by preferring an appeal before the Divisional Commissioner under Rule 22(4) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
