% 17.01.2020 Present writ of habeas corpus had been filed by the petitioner-father for production of his daughter Anjali aged 19 years. On 03rd December, 2019, this Court had transferred the investigation of the present case to the Crime Branch, Delhi. On 02nd January, 2020, the missing girl Anjali was recovered with Jitender Kumar from a rented house in Ahmedabad and after recording her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C., she was restored to her parents.

Yesterday, we had asked Jitender to appear before this Court. However, the Investigating Officer states that Jitender is not traceable. We have spoken to Ms. Anjali in our chamber. She states that she would like to stay with her parents.

As Ms. Anjali is major, she is permitted to stay with her parents. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of. MANMOHAN, J SANGITA DHINGRA SEHGAL, J JANUARY 17, 2020 js
