There is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Even on the last occasion, none represented the petitioner. 2.

The respondent No.1 has filed the counter affidavit stated as follows:

"IV.

That, certain officers proceeded on one day or half day casual leave in their individual capacity after due intimation. Leave applied for by such officers was either 'sanctioned' or 'not denied' by the respective Competent Authorities. Thus, the causal leave availed on dt.31.12.2015 by certain officers cannot be construed as absenteeism or strike at work and the same was not "unauthorised leave". It is also a normal practice that government servants exhaust their casual leave available at their credit by the end of year. W.P.(C) No.118/2016 Pg.1 of 2

That, it is pertinent to state here that Government of NCT of Delhi did not issue any orders declaring the action of government servants in taking casual leave on dt. 31.12.2005 as illegal and at no point of time there was any direction from the Government asking the officers concerned to join for duties their casual leave on dt. 31.12.2015." 3.

Non-appearance on behalf of the petitioner would also show that he is satisfied with the averments made by the respondents and has not pressed the prayers made by him in the writ petition. The writ petition as well as pending application are dismissed as not pressed.
