A status report is stated to have been filed on behalf of the respondent no.1/ MCD. However, the same is not on record. 2.
A copy of the said status report has been handed over in Court today. In the status report, it has been stated as under: (i) The MCD had received a standard plan of the DDA in respect of the said pocket of Janakpuri on 7th April, 2026. (ii) The property had been inspected and upon inspection, it was found that unauthorized construction existed in the properties W.P.(C) 1136/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. bearing (a) Flat No. 38A, Ground Floor, Block D-1B, Janakpuri, New Delhi (belonging to the petitioner), (b) Flat No. 38B, First Floor, Block D-1B, Janakpuri, New Delhi (belonging to respondent no. 3) and (c) Flat No. 38C, Second Floor, Block D-1B, Janakpuri, New Delhi.
(iii) Show cause notices had been issued to the owners/ occupiers of the said properties.

Taking into account the aforesaid status report, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent no.1/ MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the petitioner and private respondent no.3/ owners/ occupiers of the aforesaid properties are kept open. 5.
