By this petition the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to maintain social ties.

On a notice being issued a status report was filed initially, accordingly to which the petitioner was residing as a tenant and thus on his arrest the petitioner has no connection with the said house. Since petitioner's mother and brother are also in custody there are no other family members except the sister of the petitioner who is outside. Sister of the petitioner appeared before this Court on the last date of hearing and gave her address and undertook to stand surety for the petitioner. As per the nominal roll the petitioner was twice granted parole once by this Court and thereafter by the Government of NCT of Delhi which concession the petitioner did not W.P.(CRL) 63/2018

misuse and surrendered in time, although the jail conduct of the petitioner is unsatisfactory.

Considering the earlier paroles granted and the fact that the petitioner did not misuse the concession, as also the fact that the sister of the petitioner has agreed to stand surety for the petitioner, it is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks' on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court which surety would be Ms.Shehnaz w/o of Mohd. Akhlaq, sister of the petitioner. 4.

Petition is disposed of.

Copy of the order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
