The instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for seeking parole for a period of four weeks. Status report not filed.

Nominal Roll dated 23.12.2017 reveals that the petitioner was convicted under Sections 392/34 IPC r/w Section 397 IPC; 411 IPC and Section 25 Arms Act and sentenced to undergo various prison terms maximum Rigorous Imprisonment for seven years with fine `10,000/- under Section 392/34 r/w Section 397 IPC. Nominal Roll further reveals that the petitioner has already undergone five years, nine months and four days incarceration besides remission for seven months and two days as on 22.08.2017. His overall jail conduct is satisfactory in the year 2017.

In the interest of justice and for the reasons mentioned in the writ petition, the petitioner is granted three weeks parole from the date of his release, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `25,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court/CMM/Duty Magistrate. After completion of parole period, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent. 4.
