The solitary relief which is pressed presently on the writ petition is for the respondents being commanded to take appropriate action on the Reference Petition dated 21 February 2006. We find a copy of the said Petition on our record marked as Annexure P-2. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the Land Acquisition Collector ["LAC"] states that subject to due verification of all facts and contentions on merits being kept open, the said application shall be duly examined and appropriate steps taken in accordance with law and with due expedition. The statement so made is recorded and accepted. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
