The present writ petition under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeks to assail the order dated 24.02.2015 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal in O.A 2220/2012. 4.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned order has already been set aside by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 21.04.2017 by way of an order passed in W.P.(C) 479/2016, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. which order was unsuccessfully challenged before the Apex Court. 5.

In the light of the aforesaid, when the impugned order itself has been set aside, we do not see any reason to entertain the present petition and reexamine the very same order passed by the learned Tribunal. 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioner however submits that the petitioner has not been granted benefit of the court's order dated 21.04.2017. 7.

In the light of the aforesaid, while disposing of the writ petition as infructuous, we grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondents by way of an application to extend the benefits in terms of the order dated 21.04.2017 passed in W.P.(C) 479/2016. In case, such an application is moved by the petitioner within two weeks, the same will be considered by the respondents within four weeks from the date of receipt of the application by passing reasoned and speaking order. Needless to state, in case, the petitioner is aggrieved by any order passed by respondents in terms of this order, it will be open to the petitioner to seek legal recourse as permissible in law.
