A Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners to ensure protection of their life and liberty and to restrain the family members of Petitioner No.2 Komal and other persons acting on their behalf from interfering in the married life of the Petitioners or to threaten their safety and also to direct the Police Authorities in Delhi to refrain from coercing or harassing the Petitioners. 2.
It is submitted in the Petition that the Petitioner No.1 and 2 got married at Arya Samaj Mandir on 27.08.2024, though, this fact was not disclosed to their respective parents. On 11.01.2025, the parties stated residing together and since then the family of the girl/Petitioner No.2 has been constantly threatening the Petitioners and the family members of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Petitioner No.1. Hence, the safety and security is sought. According to the Petitioners, they had made a Complaint to the Police on 16.01.2025. 3.
Learned Prosecutor on behalf of the State submits that though the copy of the Complaint has not been received till date, but undertakes to provide all measures for security and safety of the Petitioners. 4.

The Petitioners on disclosing their address to the concerned SHO shall provide his own Mobile Number and also of Beat Constable and shall respond immediately in case any call is received. Also, one Constable be deputed for patrolling near the house, where the Petitioners are residing. 6.
