By way of the present application, the applicant seeks interim bail for a period of two months in case arising out of FIR bearing No. 581/2025, registered at Police Station Paharganj, Delhi for the commission of offences punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC') and Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (hereafter 'POCSO Act') The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

The mother of the victim is present in Court today, who has been identified by the concerned Investigating Officer (IO). The victim is also present, who is major. It is stated by them that the present FIR was registered due to misunderstanding between the parties. Further, the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and the families of the present applicant/accused and the victim are willing for their marriage. It is stated that their marriage ceremony is scheduled tomorrow i.e., 31.01.2026. The I.O. has also verified the venue that has been booked for marriage. 5.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant interim bail to the applicant herein for a period of two months, on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/Successor Court/Link Court/Duty Judge concerned on the following terms and conditions:

i) The applicant shall not leave the country without prior permission of the concerned Court and if the applicant has a passport, he shall surrender the same to the concerned trial court. ii) In case of change of residential address/contact details, the applicant shall promptly inform the same to the concerned Court and IO/SHO concerned.

iii) The applicant shall appear regularly before the learned Trial Court, unless exempted.

iv) The period of two months shall be counted from the date of release of the applicant.

v) The applicant shall immediately surrender before the learned Trial Court after expiry of the interim bail period. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Accordingly, the present bail application stands allowed and is disposed of.
