The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No.0486/2019 under Section 363 IPC, registered with PS Prem Nagar, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed. 2.
The said FIR was registered at the instance of Mr Kunwar Pal Singh. He had reported that one of his daughters, aged about sixteen years, had left the house arouse 2:00 PM on 06.09.2019 and had not returned. He had expressed his suspicion that the petitioner was involved in abducting her. 3.
It is averred in the present petition that the complainant's daughter has since returned back home. She stated that she had gone to her uncle's house and the said fact has been verified.

Ms Rao, learned ASC appearing for the State states that the statement of the complainant's daughter was recorded under Section 164 CrPC. She
confirmed that she was not abducted by the petitioner or any other person but had voluntarily gone to maternal uncle's place (mama) and his son had dropped her back home.

The complainant's daughter was also produced before the Child Welfare Committee. The Child Welfare Committee has also issued certain directions to the parents of the child for her further education. 6.
A status report to the said effect has also been handed over, which is taken on record.

In view of the above, the FIR in question (FIR No.0486/2019 under Section 363 IPC, registered with PS Prem Nagar, Delhi) and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
