The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No.270/2014 under Section 354A of the IPC registered with PS Anand Vihar and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed 3.
The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2, who was at the material time, the daughter-in-law of the petitioner (married to the son of the petitioner). The present petition is premised on the settlement arrived at between respondent no.2 and her husband and his family
members.
A copy of the said Memorandum of Understanding dated 22.04.2019 has been placed on record.

In terms of the said settlement arrived at between respondent no. 2's husband and his family on one part and respondent no.2 on the second part, the parties have resolved all their differences and disputes. Subsequently, the son of the petitioner and respondent no.2 had also secured a decree of divorce by mutual consent.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer.
She states that she has no grievance against the petitioner and has resolved all her differences and disputes with him and his family members. The petitioner is also present in the Court and is identified by his counsel. He states that he has no grievance against respondent no.2. 6.
In view of the statements made by the petitioner and respondent no.2, the present petition is allowed and FIR No. 270/2014 under Section 354A of the IPC registered with PS Anand Vihar and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
