The present petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 151 of CPC, 1908 has been filed seeking directions for expeditious disposal of suit no. 594/2018 titled as "Madhu Vyas vs. Sanjay Singhania Through LR's (since deceased)" pending before learned ADJ-03, North-West district, Rohini Courts, Delhi. The petitioner herein is the plaintiff before the learned Trial Court.

It is submitted that the petitioner is a senior citizen and had filed a suit for eviction and recovery of rent with mesne profit and damages/ use and occupation charges in the year 2018 which is pending at the stage of recording of the evidence to be lead by the plaintiff. 9.

The learned counsel submits that on one reason or the other the proceedings are being adjourned and the evidence on behalf of the petitioner is not being recorded which is highly prejudicial and detrimental to the interest of the petitioner.

The learned counsel further submits that the learned ADJ-03, NorthWest district, Rohini Courts, Delhi be directed to expeditiously dispose of the suit within 3-6 months and the hearing of the case be taken up on day to day basis or on weekly basis.

In view of the above submissions as the suit is pending for the recording of evidence of the petitioner since 2019 and petitioner is stated to be a senior citizen, the learned Trial Court is directed to dispose of the suit expeditiously.

No further directions are to be required; the petition stands disposed of.
