The petitioner has filed this writ petition in the wake of FIR No. 847/2025 dated 28.10.2025 with regard to his son, aged 6 years, who has been missing from his home. The relief sought in the writ petition is for transfer of the investigation to the Crime Branch/Anti-Human Trafficking Unit or any other specialised agency of the Delhi Police. 2.

Mr. Yasir Rauf Ansari, learned Additional Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents on advance notice, submits, upon instructions from the Station House Officer, Police Station Nihal Vihar, that steps shall be initiated for transfer of the investigation to the AntiHuman Trafficking Unit, Outer District, Delhi, which requires approval of the concerned Deputy Commissioner of Police.
