The present proceedings are instituted under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 536/2023 registered under Sections 324/341/34 IPC at Police Station Jamia Nagar, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, on 28.11.2023, the petitioner gave beating to respondent No.3.

Mr. Jha, learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent No. 3 is the only victims in the present case. It is further stated that the petitioners and respondent No.3 are minors and are being represented in the present proceedings through their respective parents. 4.

amicably settled their disputes vide Deed of Compromise/Settlement dated 30.12.2023 which has been entered into on their behalf by their parents. In terms of the said settlement, respondent No. 3 is now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioners.

The mother of the petitioners, who is present in Court, has been identified by their counsel as well as IO/SI Jaivind, P.S. Jamia Nagar. The father of Respondent No. 3, who is also present in Court, has been identified by the I.O.

The mother of the petitioners and father of Respondent No.3 states that they have entered into the aforementioned settlement out of their own free will, volition and without any coercion. Father of respondent no.3 further states that he has no objection if the present FIR and the consequent proceedings are quashed.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. 9.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith miscellaneous application.
