The applicant seeks regular bail in SC No.79/2024 filed under Sections 8C/22C/23C/29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 2.
Undoubtedly, the custody period i.e. incarceration of the applicant in the present matter is already more than 21⁄2 years and, so far, only one witness out of 21 cited witnesses has entered into witness box. 3.
It is apprised that the next date for recording evidence before the learned Trial Court is 08.06.2026.

After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for the applicant, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, seeks to withdraw his present bail application with liberty to file fresh application before this Court after examination of at least one recovery witness. 5.
