By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as 'A&C Act'), the petitioner seeks extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by six months till 31.07.2025 for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is about to expire on 31.01.2025. It is further submitted that the mandate has previously been extended twice, lastly vide order of this Court dated 30.07.2024.

Learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice and submits that the respondent has no objection to the prayer made in the present petition. 5.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by six months till 31.07.2025. 7.
