The Petitioners are present in Court.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners states that SI Rahul from PS Ghaziabad has been repeatedly calling the brother of Petitioner no. 2 and this has created grave apprehension in the minds of the Petitioners. He states that this fact has been duly communicated to Inspector Naveen from PS Sonia Vihar. He states that the current residential address of the Petitioners has been provided to the learned ASC during the course of hearing. 3.

Mr. Ansari, learned ASC states that the status report by SHO PS Bhajanpura has been placed on record. He states that the SHO personally held a meeting with Respondent nos. 6, 7 and 8 on 07.02.2025 and counselled them to not cause any harassment to Petitioner nos. 1 and 2. He states that Respondent no. 6 has informed the SHO that he had lodged a missing report of his daughter-Petitioner no. 1 vide GD No. 3 dated 16.01.2025 with the local The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The SHO, who is present in Court states that he will ensure that SI Rahul and the local police at Tronica City, Ghaziabad, UP are made aware about the marriage of Petitioner no. 1 with Petitioner no. 2, so that GD No. 3 dated 16.01.2025 can be closed.

Learned ASC has also placed on record the status report of SHO PS Sonia Vihar. He states that the mobile number of the SHO and the Beat Constable has been given to the Petitioners and they have been instructed to remain responsive to any distress calls from the Petitioners. 6.

He states that SI Naveen from PS Sonia Vihar as well duly communicate with SI Rahul from Tronica City, Ghaziabad, UP so as to obviate any calls to the Petitioners or their family members by U.P. police. 7.

He confirms that the current residential address of the Petitioners has been received and passed on to SHO PS Sonia Vihar. 8.

In view of the aforesaid steps taken by SHO PS Sonia Vihar and SHO PS Bhajanpura, the relief sought in the petition stands satisfied. The SHO of PS Sonia Vihar and PS Bhajanpura will ensure that all formalities for closing GD No. 3 dated 16.01.2025 by the police at Tronica City, Ghaziabad, UP is completed.

SHO, PS Sonia Vihar is directed to ensure responsiveness to any distress call from the Petitioners.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition and pending applications stand disposed of.
