Based on the document which is at annexure A-3 of the present application, a message generated under the Signature of Commandant, 36 Battalion, BSF, dated 28th January, 2026, a statement came from the learned counsel appearing for the respondents that the petitioner stood expired and as such, the writ petition stands abated.

the matter, and as such, he is not in a position to confirm the same. 5.

Be that as it may, since the statement is coming from the learned counsel for the respondents, that too based on the public record, i.e., the record of the respondents' office- Office of Commandant, 36 Battalion, BSF, we deem it appropriate to accept the statement of the respondents that the petitioner has already expired, and as such, the writ petition be abated. 6.

In view of the above, the petition is accordingly disposed of. 7.

Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of. 8.

The aforesaid order is passed, based on the statement of the learned counsel for the respondents.
