W.P.(C) No. 1237/2024 has been filed with the following prayer: "xxx xxx xxx i. Pass a writ/order/direction in the nature of mandamus in favour of the petitioner and against the respondent thereby directing the respondent, its authorized agents, servants, employees and officials to restore the electricity supply vide CA No. 60001582380 installed at the Property bearing No.WZ-91A, Inderpuri, New Delhi. xxx xxx xxx"

W.P.(C) 1273/2024 has been filed with the following prayer: "xxx xxx xxx i. Pass a writ/order/direction in the nature of mandamus in favour of the petitioner and against the respondent thereby directing the respondent, its authorized agents, servants, employees and officials to restore the electricity supply vide CA No. 60009791926 and CA No. 60005904739 installed at the property hearing No. WZ-91A, lnderpuri, New Delhi.

This Court notes that in connected matter being W.P.(C) No. 2140/2024 pertaining to the same area, this Court has already directed that electricity connection be restored for the time being, pending adjudication by this Court. The order dated 14th February, 2024 passed in W.P.(C) No.
2140/2024 reads as under:

14. In response, learned counsel for respondent no.5 submits that the electricity connection was disconnected pursuant to the letter received from the DDA.
15. Considering the fact that this Court is adjudicating the present matter, it is directed that the electricity connection of the petitioner The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
having CA No. 60028898678 be restored, for the time being, forthwith. However, the petitioner shall bear the cost, if any, raised by respondent no.5 in regard to restoration of the electricity connection.

In view of the aforesaid, it is directed that the electricity connection of the petitioners being CA No. 60001582380 and CA Nos. 60009791926 and 60005904739 be restored by the TATA Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. forthwith, upon application by the petitioners in this regard. 5.
Further, it is directed that the petitioners shall bear the cost, if any, raised by the respondent - TATA Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. in regard to restoration of electricity connection.

However, it is made clear that the restoration of the electricity connection is only a temporary measure and shall be subject to outcome of the writ petitions being W.P.(C) No. 2350/2024, W.P.(C) No. 2351/2024 and W.P.(C) No. 2140/2024.

It is further clarified that the rights and contentions of the Delhi Development Authority ("DDA") are left open, which shall be adjudicated in the aforesaid writ petitions.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petitions are disposed of along with the pending applications.
