2. Notice. Notice is accepted by learned counsel for the Respondents.

3. The prayers in the present petition stand completely covered by the order of this Court dated 15th November, 2018 in W.P.(C) No.6761/2017 (Inspector Mahender Singh v. Union of India).

4. Accordingly, the petition is allowed with a direction to the Respondents to refix the basic pay of the Petitioner at Rs.10,230/- + Rs.4,200/- Grade Pay from the date of completion of 24 years of service while granting the benefit of 2nd ACP to the Petitioner. The consequential order be passed within a period of 8 weeks from today. In case the payments including arrears are not

made within the time stipulated, the Respondents shall additionally pay simple interest @ 9% per annum on the sum due to the Petitioners for the period of delay in making the payment.
