This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "(I) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other writ or direction thereby quashing the show cause notice dated 26.11.2025 issued by the respondent no.2.

(II) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction thereby directing the respondent no. 1 to extend The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Mr. Datar, learned senior counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, states that he is restricting his grievance to prayer No. II that the representation of the petitioner dated 01.12.2025 be adjudicated and decided before proceeding with the Show Cause Notice. 3.

I am of the view that the request is reasonable and appeals to the Court.

For the said reasons, it is directed that the respondents shall dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 01.12.2025 expeditiously and in any case within 6 weeks from today after giving the petitioner/ its representative/ its counsel a personal hearing. 5.

Any action pursuant to the Show Cause Notice would be taken post the decision in the said representation.

Needless to add that if the petitioner is aggrieved, he shall be at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law. 7.

The Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case. 8.
