By way of the present petition, the petitioner prays for a limited direction that his statutory Post-Confirmation petition dated 30.11.2024 be decided by the respondents/Competent Authority within a time-bound manner.

Pursuant to the proceedings of the General Force Court (GFC), the petitioner has been visited with the penalty that for the purposes of taking rank and seniority, his date of promotion to the post of Inspector (GD) shall be considered as 14.07.2022. 3.

The petitioner has submitted a post-confirmation statutory representation against said penalty, which has not yet been decided by the respondents.
