The present petition seeks quashing of FIR No. 0002/2026, registered at Police Station Economic Offences Wing for offences under Sections 406/420/120-B IPC.

It has been filed by two petitioners i.e. petitioner No.1-M/s Suraksha Realty Limited and petitioner No.2-M/s Lakshdeep Investment & Finance Limited.

However, in the interregnum, an application has been moved seeking withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to file fresh petition seeking quashing on behalf of petitioner No.2 only.

It is submitted that petitioner No.1 is no longer interested in pursuing the present petition and would, however, reserve its right to take other legal actions.

It is submitted that, in view of aforesaid, the present petition would be requiring extensive amendments and, therefore, there is a request to permit the petitioners to withdraw the same with liberty to petitioner No.2 to file fresh petition.

Learned counsel for respondent Nos. 1 and 2 appear on advance notice. 8.

Keeping in mind the reasons assigned in the application, the present petition is permitted to be withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for. 9.

The next date stands cancelled.
